Pascal is an AMAZING helper, and this project was perfect for his little hands. He held measuring cups for me, and even did a little of the stirring. Yep, I think he is right on his way to be a skilled play dough maker!
He loved it SO much, that he begged me to share the recipe with you.
Play Dough (from my mother's little red cook book)
Stores three months in the fridge
1 cup flour
1 cup water
1 tablespoon oil
1/2 cup salt
2 teaspoon cream of tarter
Food coloring
Mix everything, except for food coloring in a sauce pan on medium heat, until it starts to form a ball. Make sure you wait until most of it forms a ball, or else it will be too sticky.
Kneed the color into the dough on a piece of parchment paper.
To make more than one color, split to dough and kneed the
different colors into each section.
Enjoy!
Lots of Love,
Rapunzel
